Flag of Canada Day - Hometown Music Challenge

February 15th

Challenge 1  Share a video of your elementary school, class or

choir singing O Canada and saying happy birthday to the Flag of

Canada.

Your school can become part of Canadian history.  Singing O Canada is a great way to get your school involved a national music project students can take pride in while creating memories that last a lifetime.  Post your video on YouTube, send us the details using the upload link.  Videos that capture our attention through creativity and lots of shares will be featured on our website and included in our next book.

Challenge 2  Create artwork that says happy birthday to the Flag

of Canada from your hometown’s elementary school.

Include lots of ideas and images that represent your hometown, and don’t forget to include your hometown’s name.  Use the Flag of Canada lesson plans from our website or use your own. Upload your photos using the upload link.  Pictures that capture our attention, with lots of creativity will be featured on our website and included in our next book.
